    Hi,
Is there any way to completely disable the use of Google Fonts with the pro version of this plugin? We created 35 carousels and are not using the title function in any of them (Content > Load Carousel Section Title Font > Off). Despite this the plugin seems to retain an active connection to the Google Font Server (see below) and in Europe this is not compatible with GDPR. As a result we have been legally charged and this is especially irritating since we host all of our fonts locally, as required by law. We were not aware of WPCP seemingly connecting to the Google Font Server even when the typography functions are not being used. Is this so or are we missing something? If it is so, can you look into this to protect others? Thank you.

    <link rel=”stylesheet” id=”SP_WPCP-google-web-fonts-sp_wpcp_shortcode_options-css” href=”//fonts.googleapis.com/css? family=Open+Sans%3A600%7C… type=”text/css” media=”all”

    Best regards,
    Sara

    Hi @sarawh,

Yes, there are ways to disable the connection with the google fonts completely in the Pro version of the plugins.

As you are a WP Carousel PRO user, we would suggest you open a support ticket here for getting a faster solution.

    Have a nice day.
