disable generating thumbnails for pages

First of all auto post thumbnail is a great tool. It saved me some time and made my blog look better in the process! ??

How for my question. I unchecked the box for pages but it will still generate a thumbnail for them whenever I update the text on a page. This is annoying because I don’t use that image but still have to pay credits for shortpixel plugin for optimizing an image that I don’t use.
