DISABLE FORMATTING WP 1.9

I am getting really pissed, I have been looking for over 2 hours now. DOWNLOADING EVERY PLUGIN SUGGESTED here. AND NO LUCK. NONE. plugins with “<“code”>” tags don’t work at all. I can’t even use BR without it deleting it. I put my code in and it decides to trash all of if and put its own code in. How can i COMPLETELY DISABLE THIS.
The only code I want it to put in is when I drag photos in the window.
