Disable force refresh on specific pages

And another question: is there a way to refresh just the home page?
I mean to refresh the browser just for the visitors that are on the home page, not for the rest of visitors that are on other pages in site.

Thanks for reaching out! Regarding your first question, no – there’s no existing feature to opt-out specific pages from a force refresh when refreshing the entire site. Although it’s not currently a supported feature, it could be added in the future if there are enough use cases to support it.

Regarding your second question, it is supported to be able to refresh a specific page. Each page has its own Force Refresh controls under the meta box. See the followings screenshot for details.

Hi,
It doesn’t work on home page.
I have a website where I select page X to be the home page.
From admin bar or from pages I open the page for edit and after that I save the changes.
After the save I press the “Refresh home” button, but nothing happens in browsers where the home page is open.

In order to debug further, please send along the following:

1. Your current version of WordPress.
2. The installed version of Force Refresh.
3. The URL of the page you’re attempting to refresh.

It looks like your server is experiencing 500 errors on the admin ajax hook. Can you look at your server logs and see if you find anything related to Force Refresh?

The easiest way is to visit the following URL, note the time, and find the server log for that time.
https://cnped.ro/2020/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=force_refresh_get_version

Clarification – you’ll need a nonce generated by WordPress (force refreshes are secured behind them) so instead of visiting the endpoint directly, you can just visit https://cnped.ro/2020.
