Is there any way for me to disable logging for a single site in a multisite network?

Alternatively, is there any way to disable the logging of submissions for a particular Gravity form by the form’s ID?

    Thx!

    Hello Vicki!

Thanks for reaching out with these interesting questions.

First Question: Excluding a Subsite from Being Logged

Currently, it is not possible to exclude a specific subsite from being logged out of the box. However, we are considering ways to include this functionality in future updates. I’ve noted your suggestion, and we’ll discuss it for future plugin releases.

In the meantime, you can try using the filters available in the Exclude Objects tab on the Settings page. From there, you might exclude certain users found only on that specific subsite. While this is not a perfect solution, it might help as a workaround.

    Second Question: Gravity Forms alerts

Regarding Gravity Forms, I’m afraid such granular filtering (by Form ID) is not currently possible. You can only disable or exclude a specific Alert ID (e.g., 5709, when a user submits any form).
The plugin’s built-in sensor regarding Gravity forms tracks all form submissions, and currently, there is no way to filter them by specific forms, so it’s either “all” or “none”.

This is an interesting use case, and I’ve noted it. We will consider ways to improve alert filtering in future updates and we will surely consider your scenario.

Sadly neither one of these is optimal for me. (This is about preserving privacy on an anonymous feedback form on a company intranet run on a WP multisite network.) I’ll keep looking for a solution. Totally okay with just being handed a filter hook and minimal documentation.

    Thanks for your response.

Thank you for explaining the usecase here vickifarmer. In your case it does make sense. We’ve taken a note of this and we’ll see what we can do.

    Have a great day.
