    Hi Joe,

The featured image is somehow getting tweeted, although it is not configured in the settings, and it’s my understanding that only the PRO version has the capability (I have the free version 3.2.1 installed).

How can I stop the featured image from getting tweeted? The site is here.

    Thank you.

Can you submit a support request from the support form under the Get Help tab? I think I need some more information to address this.

Thanks for your quick response; I’ve submitted the support request.

Responded to the support request via email, but for reference, the issue proved to be that Tweets were also being sent via the WordPress.com API, probably via JetPack, and those Tweets were including the unwanted featured images.

    Hi,

I am on the free version of “WP to Twitter” and I have the same issue that has just started to happen. I know it’s strictly not your problem but when you identified the issue for dwoolworth924 did you find a solution.

    Thanks

I didn’t actually find the solution; I just pointed out that the additional Tweets showed that their source was from JetPack, and disabling Tweets sent by JetPack would fix the issue. I haven’t used JetPack’s Twitter features, so I don’t have any specific familiarity with them.
