Disable everything besides posts and single view

  • Hello, Im just curious if its possible, and if so how can I disable everything besides entries, and the single post views of them? I have a pretty weird layout Im currently working with and a requirement is to have no pages (Im talking about pages like about, archives, etc..) and only entries and posts.

    Are you wanting to hide the menu options from others or is this a request to make a simple layout? If looking to hide the navigation there are several plugins that can accomplish this. If looking for a simple layout structure you can always delete the pages you don’t need.

    well I’m using a plugin which lets me include the content of a page into a post (Im using it for my sidebar) but the thing is that I dont want anyone to type myurl.com/about and get to it since its only one paragraph.

    What is this plugin you are using? I’m not sure you really need it, but that is besides the point. If you set the About page as a draft others will not be able to see that page. Keep in mind you will be able to see it as long as you are logged in.
