Disable E-commerce in WooCommerce Based Themes

    I am interested in an e-commerce style WordPress theme and am looking at the Woocommerce themes. However, the website will not be selling any products online. Simply, I just want the website to just show categories of the products with pictures and descriptions of each, but no ability for users to purchase anything online, only view them.
    Is this possible with the Woocommerce themes, or would I have to look at the “standard” WordPress themes instead? Can I purchase a WooCommerce based theme and simply Disable the E-commerce functionality?
