  • Plugin Support Predrag – WPMU DEV Support

    (@wpmudev-support1)

    Hi @markitorsm,

Thanks for your suggestion, I have forwarded your request to our developers to check this out and see if it can be indeed done with the latest MailChimp API.

    Cheers,
    Predrag

First off, I LOVE Hustle, it’s an incredibly rich plugin and the corner signup option especially is fantastic. The interface and controls are so robust.

Which is why it’s so disappointing when I found out (vis Mailchimp support) that Hustle forces double opt-in with Mailchimp (even when my own Mailchimp setting is set to Single Opt-In). This update would be essential for me to use Hustle (which I really want to do).

Alternatively, instead of linking with email hosts like Mailchimp, can user signups emails just go directly to my own email (like WPforms)?

    Thanks!

    Hello @theliquidstate

Hope you’re doing well and glad to hear that you love our plugin!

Double Optin with Mailchimp can be deactivated in the latest version of the plugin 6.0.

Activate Automatically opt-in new users to the mailing list option, to deactivate it. Please see this screenshot:

Enable Local Hustle List option to save the email addresses locally. You can export the CSV Email list and import it elsewhere.

Per WordPress regulation please create a new topic if you have any further questions. This way, the author will not be getting email notifications each time when there is a new post in the thread.

    Hope this will helps!

    Kind Regards,
    Nastia

@wpmudev-support9, actually I am glad @theliquidstate tacked on to my thread. His comment and your response are both relevant to my OP, and I am glad to see that something was done to make this feature available. I will be sure to give Hustle another try.
