    Hi ssabin,

You can simply go into your form settings, open up the “Settings” tab and set “Enable double opt-in” to false. Please note that the laws on this differ per country though, do check if it’s allowed in yours.

Hope that helps. If not, let me know!

    Hi ssabin,

To send your welcome e-mail, please go into your MailChimp account and check your settings for the selected list. From there you can specify whether you want to send the welcome email or not.

Hope that helps. If not, let me know!

Ok so the welcome email i send is set in the automation with a trigger to immediately send email when subscriber joins.
but i dont get the email

    Hi Ssabin,

That is most likely because as far as I know, automation triggers can only be used if you are using double opt-in. Subscribers added through the API without double opt-in enabled will be seen as “imports”, so they will never trigger automations.

However, this is MailChimp territory and not something the plugin has control over so your best bet is to ask MailChimp about this.

Hope that helps. If not, let me know!
