    Hi,

Generally, most sites include table styling.

CookieYes adds its own CSS rules to the tables of cookies, is there a way to disable this styling so the styling can be inherited (and consistent) with the website, and if not can this be raised as a feature request.

Otherwise, it requires adding a number of CSS overrides to strip the styling, and therefore requires future maintenance to review and update if CookieYes amend the styling.

    Thank you,

    Hi @medavidallsop,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Most of the styling of our cookie audit table is inherited from the website. Only necessary styles have been added from CookieYes to ensure proper table structure. Could you please mention the CSS rules causing the issue on your site?

    For example:

    .cky-cookie-audit-table th, .cky-cookie-audit-table td

These selectors apply their own specific styling, but generally th and td would get styled in the site, CookieYes overrides these due to the .cky-cookie-audit-table target – so ideally I’d like to disable the styling so the standard table styling is inherited from the website, rather than being in CookieYes’s styles.

    Hi @medavidallsop

We understand your concern about maintaining consistent styling across your website and the need to avoid CSS overrides that may require future updates.

We will consider this as a feature request and evaluate its potential impact on our existing users. However, we cannot guarantee that this option will be added, as we need to ensure that any changes will not affect the current functionality for other users.

If you need further assistance with managing your CSS, feel free to reach out.
