Disable click on masonry media grid photos

I am using masonry media grid on my homepage for showcasing photos. But I don’t want the photos to be clickable because when a photo expands, the presentation doesn’t match my brand style. How can I make the media grid simply a showcase of my photos without any responses/actions/clicks enabled?

Or is there any other element I should use instead?
