Disable built in picture shadowbox

hy to everyone,
I’m new to WordPress (great software, real great) and I have a problem. I installed the lastest version of WP with mystique theme, and shadowbox-js, wp-cumulus plugins; I set shadowbox-js plugin not to open pictures because the built in plugin is doing that (even if I don’t want that); now when I open a picture the wp-cumulus plugin sits over the picture in shadowbox. I disabled the built in plugin (set all to 0 in settings>media), and now neither the shadowbox-js plugin is not working after enabeling the picture setting. Can somewone drive me into right direction ?
