    Hi,
is it possible to disable the auto-open the accordeon (bpress-nav-section) in sidebar if I call an article? The list in the sections is much longer than some of my articles and so I got a lot of empty space down the content.

I can comment out the line “$css_classes[] = ‘open’;” (line 64) in “includes/class-basepress-nav-walker.php” but in fact of updates I think this is not the best solution.

    Any Ideas for this?

    Thanks
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately can’t help you with the code suggestion. But the plugin allows you to disable table of contents if you wish from BasePress > Settings.

The other simple hack I could think of is to hide nested list via CSS.

you talk about “position of sidebar = none”? I don’t want to disable it completely.
it would be great to still not open it by default.
With hide by css the user is not able to open it, right? So that doesn’t help me either.

Can’t be a big thing I think. As I said before, if I commented out the line 64 in “includes/class-basepress-nav-walker.php” it works as expected.

Perhaps an idea for future update to make this behaviour selectable by checkbox in the settings if this line should do it’s job or not.

    Kind regards
    Daniel
