Disable author link?

  • Good day!

    Your plugin brings great functionality to my webpage when it comes to notifications. But we don’t want to point our users to the author pages.

    In the comment section we use CSS to disable the links created when @username is written. But in the mail notifications we haven’t managed to remove them (because they are controlled by “user agent stylesheet” in the mail reader I think).

    Could you add an option for not making a mention create that link to the author page? Or do you know of another solution?

    Sorry for the late reply. You can remove link from the email setting.

    Hmm, I don’t see that possibility in the email settings. ??

    To clarify: I’m using #comment_content# in the Email Content field, and in the resulting email notification the mentioned users within that comment content are shown with links to their author page.

    In that case, you can’t do that without doing custom work.
