Disable all image loading on Category Gallery

    How to disable all images loading on galleries (selecting between categories)?

    You can see on demo site (https://modernthemes.net/demo/?theme=Gridsby) that along with cover photo, site loads also photos of all galleries and slow down website speed.

    Is there any chance to load photos of the each gallery when user click on that gallery?

    I tried lazy image loader plugins, but not one of them has not helped…

    This is just how the theme works. It does resize images automatically to help reduce load times, and caching plugins can help a great deal.

    We usually recommend no more than 20 or so images per page to keep your site speed up.

    Ok, thanks for your reply. Continue the excellent work. I can only recommend to some future versions of the theme to optimizate this setting.

    another question about category gallery. i can’t get it right on https://www.chrismeijerscollectie.nl/category/chris-meijers-collectie/
    i followed all the instructions.

    it does not show as category gallery but just like a category.

    i found this out: better to make a special category for the category gallery pages. in that case you get the gallery. reason: when normal post get the same category as photo post, the normal post forces the layout to a normal category post.

    for me this issue is solved.
