“Disable ads on this page” shouldn’t also disable widget ads

    So I’m writing a post/page that I don’t want ads to show up in the content of, so I check off “Disable ads on this page”. Done, right?

    No… now my sidebar and footer ads don’t show up either. So now I have to enable ads in the post settings (which is a useless setting for me, now) and then go into advanced ads settings and manually disable ads for a specific post on both the top/bottom content ad groups? Awesome.

    The “Disable ads on this page” option within a page/post edit page should only disable content ads within that post/page, not widgets… OR there should be 2 boxes to disable content ads and/or widget ads separately.

    Nevermind, it seems that this is by design in order to get people to buy premium in order to have both options..

    I’ll just switch to a different ad injector, good thing I realized this after adding only 6 ads.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Please see this manual overview about all options to disable ads. You’ll find all general and the more specific approaches through conditions there.

    I generally recommend using the condition to exclude ads from specific pages here, since this option is the most flexible approach if you want all your ad settings at one place.

    And you are correct, the option to disable only ads injected into the content on the page settings is available with Advanced Ads Pro. This add-on extends the options available in the plugin with further placement options, conditions, and ad management features.
