Hello. I tried to search on this and did not find anything about how to disable the ads on the Event Calendar plugin single pages. If there is a page, please feel free to just let me know as I do not want to waste anyone’s time.

However, I have the Advanced Ads plugin installed along with the Events Calendar plugin and my ads are displaying on the single events pages that the Events Calendar is creating. I have tried disabling ads on “non singular pages” as well as “secondary queries” without success, so I am wondering how I disable them with the Event Calendar?

    Thank you.

    Kat

    Hi Kat,

    thanks for reaching out.

I am not sure how the Event Calendar plugin works, but if they automatically create pages it is likely that they have their own post type.

This means you can try this:

Go to the ad’s edit page and scroll down to “Display Conditions” (disable the Wizard, if enabled).
Choose the “Post Type” condition and unselect the Event Calendar post type (not sure how they call it).

Please check if that ad still appears on these posts and let me know.

I might be missing something, I can’t find where to unselect Event Calendar. Here is what I see: https://eccentricquarterly.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/ScreenHunter-08.png

    Thanks for the screenshot.

The options that start with “Archive” are for overview pages. It looks strange that Event Calendar has multiple categories called the same though.

When you want to disable ads for the single Event Category posts you should scroll down and select “Post Type” first. Load the option and then unselect the Event Calendar type.
