Whenever a user changes their password for their account, an email is sent to the admin or moderator of the website.

What I did to resolve the problem is to go to the User Registration plugin > Settings > Emails > Reset Password Email

from here, I unchecked this option:

Enable this email sent to the user when a user requests for reset password.

    but this didn’t work.

Is there a way to prevent sending an admin email notification every time a user changes their account password?

    Thanks for the help!

  • Hi @bnikkhah,

    Sorry for the delayed response.
Regarding the issue, if you uncheck that option, it will disable the emails to the user and not to the admin. So, you are still getting emails as admin. You should enable that options so that emails will be sent to users.
And regarding admin email, currently there is no any option to disable specific category of emails being sent to admin.
Maybe we will introduce this feature later. We will make sure to let you know if we introduce this feature in the future.

Let me know if you have other questions and I will get back to you.

    Regards!
