Dirty Suds Embed PDF

Hi Pat,

I’m having inconsistent results. I have Embed PDF installed, and thought it was working great, however I am hearing from others (including someone logged into my computer with a different username) that they are seeing an empty frame and no PDF. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

Use the Dirty Suds Embed PDF a lot. Is there a way to make the embeded PDF transparent? I have an issue with a drop down menu dropping behind the PDF. This only happens with the IE 9 browser. All other browsers work fine. Have not been able to correct with adjustments to z-index in CSS. Issue can be viewed at https://www.ahsbucs.com/tennis/?page_id=136

Hello,
I’m getting an error message using your plugin
The error message is this “Sorry, we were unable to find the document at the original source. Verify that the document still exists.
You can also try to download the original document by clicking here.”
You can see it on my home page peacemission.info
It comes out on Chrome, Firefox and IE. If you click on where it says the document will load no problem. I tried uploading docs both via the media tab and ftp with the same result. Interesting thing is that they are displaying correctly the first time I publish the post and a few times after that but as I refresh the pages it starts to display the error message. Error message comes up on multiple different computers.
I get the same error using another RV embed PDF plugin as well.
What do you think could that be?

It’s working in Chrome fine. My question is why doesn’t change its view size when I change it to new size. It is hard to read when PDF is loaded. I know you can enlarge but whole PDF page is not big enough. How can I change the preview window size ?

I want to thank you for your plugin, I use it a lot on the website of my professional school. Unfortunately I have the same problem as chasgee1 reported 2 month ago here in the forum: on several pages with embedded pdfs the menu disappear behind the pdf (for example: https://www.ausbildung-fuerstenwalde.de/?page_id=790) in Internet Explorer 9 (we have to use this version in our school). I thought the z-index is the problem but I wasn’t able to solve it myself and unfortunately I wasn’t able to found a solution for the problem. Could you please help me?

I checked out my site on my iPad and noticed that the PDF pages weren’t there. Simply a blank space where they should have been. Does this plugin use Flash?

No Flash, just iframes.

Any idea why it is not showing on my iPad? I have heard from someone else that they can see it on theirs?

Don’t working on Firefox 13 for Mac

I have used this plug in extensively on several sites: All now do not work with internet explorer but do work with firefox. An example see link below.
