    Hello,

I just migrated my website from GoDaddy Ultimate Linus hosting to GoDaddy Ultimate Linux with Cpanel.

My website after the migration keeps giving me the white screen of death. I checked the error log in the Cpanel and I got many instances of this:

Cannot serve directory /home/user/public_html/website/: No matching DirectoryIndex (index.html.var,index.htm,index.html,index.xhtml,index.wml,index.perl,index.pl,index.plx,index.ppl,index.cgi,index.jsp,index.js,index.jp,index.php4,index.php3,index.php,index.phtml,index.shtml,default.htm,default.html,home.htm,index.php5,Default.html,Default.htm,home.html,welcome.html) found, and server-generated directory index forbidden by Options directive

I really need some urgent help on this. Thanks.

  • Do one of those files actually exist in /home/user/public_html/website/?

Either none of those do or the document root for the domain is pointing to the wrong place. Usually, it’s just /home/user/public_html/.

Might check with GoDaddy to make sure it is configured properly.
