The directory had been working. And when I went to that page where I use the shortcode [pta_member_directory], it shows this:

“Sorry! There is nothing to display yet.”

I tried increasing PHP memory per an earlier message, but that didn’t work.

But the Contact Form shortcode [pta_member_contact] works fine.

    Thanks for any help.

Are there any position or location arguments in the shortcode on that page?

Did you check the Members on the admin side to make sure they are still there and have the published status?

What version of WordPress? What other plugins do you have installed?

Everything is still working fine here on my test system with newest version of WordPress & themes, and there have been no other reports of similar issues.

I have not changed anything since the last time I saw it working.

Yes, Members are all there and published.

WordPress 4.5.3. I haven’t added any new plugins since I started using PTA successfully.

    Plugins:

    • Delightful Downloads
    • Easy EP SMTP
    • Jetpack
    • PDFjs Viewer
    • Pending submission notification
    • Post expirator
    • Rublon
    • Updraft
    • Wordfence Security
    • WP Hide Post
    • WP Photo Albums Plus
    • WP-PostViews

Please double-check the shortcode on the page to make sure it has not changed in any way, and there are no arguments for location or position or anything other than the simple shortcode itself.

After that, you may need to do a process of elimination, and deactivate other plugins one at a time and see if the listings re-appear. If so, then you will know which plugin may be causing some kind of conflict. It’s quite possible that one of those plugins released an update that then caused a conflict with my plugin. Looking at your list of plugins, I would start with the ones that affect posts (since Members are a custom post type), namely: Post Expirator, WP Hide Post, and WP-PostViews, possibly even Jetpack.

Otherwise, there is not much I can do for you directly here since the plugin is still working fine for me (and everyone else, as far as I know), which means it is a conflict with something else on your site, or something got mis-configured.

Thank you! I should’ve thought to deactivate plugins as that’s SOP for when you run into problems. It was HIDE POST doing it — even though the post was not hidden.

Which is weird because it has not been updated in a year. Maybe a new version of WP broke it. Thanks again!

Great! Glad you got it figured out.

    Marking this as resolved.
