Directory style AppTheme [Not only Google Maps]

Hi all

I’m trying to find a directory theme (E.g. Directory by Templatic, Vantage, etc.) for a site.

There seem to be some great looking ones available but they all have one flaw – they all seem to disregard the potential for users in China.

Google is for the main part blocked in China (unless you use a VPN), however some aspects of it can be accessed through the China-based URL (google.cn/maps will load but maps.google.com / google.com/maps will not). Does anybody know if there are any AppThemes like this that utilise a different map system (Baidu, Bing or others) OR that can easily be changed to use the Chinese version of Google Maps to allow for access in China without a VPN?

I spoke with the people at Templatic regarding their Directory theme and switching to the Chinese version of GM but they made it seem like it would be quite a laborious task and could be an expensive customisation to make – which I’d rather avoid if there’s a more flexible option available.
