Im looking to use the directory smush functionality of this plugin but i think our non standard setup means the folder i want to smush isn’t found.

We currently run a centralised copy of wordpress and all plugins which we then symlink into a site folder. So the structure would be roughly

    – Centralised folder
    — wp
    — plugins

    – Site folder
    — wp symlink
    — web
    — wp-content
    —- uploads
    — plugin symlink

Smush works fine on the standard uploads, but when i try to point the directory smush to a folder inside the uploads folder i can only see wp-content within the central wordpress — wp folder.

Im trying to smush images uploaded from a Gravity form which stores the images in uploads/gravity_forms.

Is there anyway i can add a function to my site template to hard code the folder i want to use with directory smush.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

    Hello there @dpc036,

hope you’re doing good today! ??

We had a similar report recently about images stored in a custom folder in uploads folder by WPBakery Page Builder plugin and this is escalated to our developers for further consideration.

We’ll keep you posted here as soon as we’ve got some valuable insights.

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris
