Directory site with Dokan ?

Hi

I tried before various Directory listings themes and plugins but was not satisfied because of lack of customization and features

Basically i need any user to register and submit a listing (it could be a product or service to sell, or it could be a company description listing)

I need a payment system so that users can pay to be listed / featured or even subscription every month to have their listings online

I also need customizable filtering features, import & export, images, reviews, comments and so on

I think Woocommerce is the best choice as it is widely used and matches all the above desired features

Except one : by default, only admins can add a new listing in Woocommerce

So my question is : is Dokan the right choice to achieve my project ?

I am a bit confused with the stores pages that Dokan provide, i understand how it works, but actually i would like brands to be able to create rich pages to present themselves, so this would be achieved with a product page (and not a store page that is just listing products with logo and adress)

Also i need to be able to filter all brands with the classic woocommerce filters plugins, on attributes

so that’s only possible with products (and not dokan stores)

so as far as i understand, in my case of a directory site dokan stores pages are not relevant, but not a problem it could only be a kind of a user profile, and then users would create a product page that would be the actual store presentation page
