    Hi @theeverydayatelier ,

there isn’t an ‘expand’ function in the Name Directory by default. In the admin you are able to toggle the ‘Show description’ option for a directory.

Is that what you are looking for?

    Kind regards,

    Jeroen Peters

I also realized that the description does not appear on the front-end of the site, even marking the display option. See screencast…

@hellstoncrusher the description you are referring too is the description of the names.
But you have a good point, the description in the admin is not shown at all on the frontend. Untill your question I always assumed this is something for the admin him/herself. Most people use the Name Directory somewhere in their site where they can put a description themselves, with layout-options (which this box does not give).

Hi!! Thanks for the plugin! I would like to know if I can implement collapsible elements (show/hide description by clicking on the title) for the name and description on the front-end.

    Is it possible?

    Thanks in advanced!

    hi @stevenuba,

yes it’s possible, but it’s not configurable in Name Directory. You can do it yourself, as normally most of the front-end stuff is something that the people who create the sites do. I can provide the javascript code for you in exchange for a small donation.

    Kind regards,

    Jeroen Peters
