I’ve managed to install a new blog on my server, but when I try to login I get the error message “Directory Listing Denied. This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.”
    Would appreciate any advice.

I have tried all the suggestions in the Codex part of the WordPress system, including changing the password in the phpMyAdmin. I’ve reinstalled the login page.

I’m using a Macbook, with Snow Leopard 10.6.5. This is the latest version of WordPress 3.0.4.

I have installed 2 other blogs previously. I always seem to have the same problems, but each time it comes down to a different solution. The other 2 are now running ok.

    The blog address is https://www.blog.being-in-voice.com

    Cheers!

ok, just for the record, in case anyone else has the same problem, it was a matter of going into my server, and making sure that directory indexes were enabled, and listed correctly.

Just for the record, my problem was that the file index.php was missing after an partial site transfer and without a index.php the browser tried to access the directory, returning this error. Once restored index.php, everything worked flawlessly.
