Directory form: show entries based on field value

I did this: Made a form with a date field, created a directory form

I want to display results from that form only if the dates from the forms date field are within a relevant date range.
Is that possible?

Usage:
People subscribe to a public meal which is held every friday.
they can subscribe online for the meal, but I want to show only the submissions for coming Friday (even if that friday is today). There is a date filter but that is based on the submission date, and cannot be based on a particular date field.
