  • Hi gmads,

That looks correct, did you check the package log and make sure its being recorded there as well?

    Hello Cory,

I hadn’t, but I just did and yes, the settings are there:

    ARCHIVE (ZIP):
    ARCHIVE DIR: /home2/xxx/public_html
    ARCHIVE FILE: xxx_20150617_558…_archive.zip
    FILTERS: *ON*
    DIRS: /home/xxx/public_html/cgi-bin;/home/xxx/public_html/temp;
    EXTS: not set

    Thanks,
    Guillermo

That is odd, all of our unit tests pass for filters and no other reports have came in for filters not working… I’m not really sure how to resolve the issue without looking at it. If you want to submit a support ticket I can take a deeper look for you. Follow the links from the Help menu in plugin if that’s how you want to proceed (and be sure to refer to this link)…

    Cheers~

    Hello Cory,

    I found the issue.

Yesterday, when I ran the process, I copied and pasted the paths directly from the ftp program: “/home/xxx/etc.”, but if you notice the extract from the log, Duplicator sets the location of the archive to “home2“, which is a link to the “home” directory, and not to “home”, which is the real directory.

I just changed the exclusion paths to “/home2/xxx/etc.” and the process ran without problems, the defined directories were excluded.

I hope this will help you debug this particular condition.

    Thanks again!
    Guillermo

    Hi gmads,

Thxs for the update! I’m not sure if I can resolve that in code as it pulls straight from one of the core WP vars which is built into WordPress…
