Directory Creation Error

  • Ok – I’ve tried everything I’ve found so far, but nothing has worked. I’ve checked the file name for storing uploads (reads wp-content/uploads) now. I’ve checked the permissions – now at 755 and I’m still getting the following error.

    Unable to create directory /home/username/public_html/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    I’m not certain how to fix this using WP or cPanelX, but all help is appreciated. I’m currently running the newest version of wordpress and have a theme installed.

    If I uncheck the categorize in month/date box I get the following error…

    The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/alic/public_html/blog/wp-content/uploads.
