    I there a way to change this text? I will like to notify the user that the search is by last name.

    This text can be changed using the Say What? plugin. This plugin can be used to change most strings in Connections and most other plugins that are translation-ready. So it is pretty handy.

    Here’s a link to a tutorial:

    Example:

    Original text: You are searching for the keyword(s): %s
    Text domain: connections
    Text context: leave blank
    New string: Search by lastname: %s

    Note, the %s is the placeholder for the string entered by the visitor into the keyword search field.
