    Dear Directorist team,

    First of all my congratulations. 7.0.3 is a great improvement. In particular, the custom fields seem to work now. Many thanks.

    One major issue remaining:
    1. Locations and categories do not show up in the submission form. The selection lists are empty.

    A few minor issues:
    2. When opening the map, a few list icons are displayed first, and then replaced by the map. It is not too nice. Can you open the map directly, without showing anything before? I have tried to switch off caching (in the Settings), but no effect.
    3. By the way, what is the Caching setting for?
    4. Like many other users, I still have an issue with the template. I want to use a customized template with sidebars and other features. Before, I could use the Single Listing Page as the template. Can you re-install the Single Listing Page under ‘Page Setup’ in the Settings?
    5. The display of the Preview Image on the Single Listing Page has changed. Now, in many cases, only part of the image is shown, e.g., the upper part. I have not changed anything in the setting, and after rollback, it works fine. Would do I need to do here?
    (I use ‘Fit with Container’, ‘Blur’, 16 x 9).

    6. How does the “map_zoom_level parameter” work? (announced in the release notes)

    Having the same problems as Jochen.

    Also, the images don’t show up properly on All Categories page.

    Settings are set to Fit to Container with 150x150px size, but the images act as if they are set to Fill with Container.

    Sorry for the delayed response.

    1. Location and Category issue was resolved in the last update.

    2. I have forwarded this to our developer and hopefully, will be fixed in future updates.

    3. It caches WP queries to reduce the number of requests.

    4. Sidebar is still possible like the previous versions. You just need to add the widgets in the listing sidebar. The things that are missing are

    a. Ability to have the single listing elements in two columns

    Solution: We are going to add a two-column section in the builder so you can have the single listing content in two columns.

    b. Ability to add custom shortcodes.

    Solution: This is the upcoming feature which we expect to add by this month. This will allow you to use custom shortcodes/features within the single listing page.

    Moreover, the reason to switch to the new builder is to give users drag and drop experience and over the counter, we will be adding more elements so that you get a listing builder experience identical to page builders.

    5. Would you mind sharing the link to your website so we could take a closer look?

    6. map_zoom_level parameter is the shortcode parameter that you requested. It lets you have a different zoom level for each map. We are sorry for the delayed development.

    You are correct, there seems to be an issue with the settings. I have forwarded the issue to the developer and hopefully will be resolved in the next week’s update.
