I am getting thousands of hits to one of my pages as direct traffic from BOTs.
    How can I block them?
I have already excluded internet bots but it’s not helping.
    Many thanks!

What is the identifying information about these visits which leads you to believe they are bots?
If they are all using the same IP or they fall within obvious IP ranges you can try blocking them via the blacklist feature.

Because they are all directed to one post, and I have already blocked a referral website to it yesterday. As soon as I blocked that referral website, the same number of visits started to show as direct traffic.

They come from hundreds of IP and as soon as I block some IPs some more show up, so an IP block isn’t an option.

Hi @satrez, did you try implementing IP range as suggested by @wpsolutions above?

    For example:

Each IP address must be on a new line.

To specify an IP range use a wildcard “*” character. Acceptable ways to use wildcards is shown in the examples below:

    Example 1: 195.47.89.*
    Example 2: 195.47.*.*
    Example 3: 195.*.*.*

If you know the IP addresses are coming from the same country, you can always block that country.

    Kind regards
