Direct Starting Download the PDF File

    This plugin is very cool to embed the PDF file in the website. But after this update 1.7.10 when I open the embedded page it starts downloading the PDF file automatically. And I don’t want to download the PDF file to my users. I just want them to read on my website. The other version was good. Can I able to do that in this version?

    Please help me so that.

    Hi,

    There was a an important security update with 1.7.10. Apologies for the trouble caused by that.
    Please update the plugin to version 1.7.11
    It should work fine then.

    Yeah, it worked with version 1.7.11. But still the same issue with IDM (Internet Download Manager). If I enable IDM and enter or reload the page where I embedded the PDF file it starts downloading the PDF file with IDM. But not loading on the website.

    Is there any option to disable download the PDF files with IDM or other download managers?
    Please let me know if there is an option to do that.

    Hi Masud,
    Sorry but IDM is beyond our control. It hijacks protocol at browser level.

    It’s the settings in IDM that look for PDFs and intercept the protocol. You can removed .PDF in IDM download watch settings and it wont look for PDFs.
