Direct Questions

  • I use the FAQ as a Q&A for authors. It works great, but not sure how to do something. When a Reader submits a question, I would like them to ask it of a specific author – so they would be able to pick from a list the author they want to answer the question. Then when the question and answer is displayed, I want to not only have the person who made the request displayed, but also the author’s name displayed. I’m sure there’s a way to do this, but I can’t figure it out.

    While you can add extra fields to your FAQs, there is currently no option to have those extra fields in the submit question form. We’ll note this down as a feature suggestion and look into the possibility of adding it in a future release.
