    Hi guys.

    (wp:4.01)

First, what is the correct/proper header return to a direct call to wp-cron.php?

    ….and what should it return?

Second, the reason I ask is, seeing different direct calls to none existing files like: wp-cronas.php, wp-mycron.php …etc – which of course returns 404…

Third, but if I call directly my site: https://mysite.com/wp-cron.php

    it prints out:

The plugin is at the latest version.

The plugin is at the latest version.

The plugin is at the latest version.

The plugin is at the latest version.

The plugin is at the latest version.

The plugin is at the latest version.

… and if this is a correct return…-if this a correct return-…, then obviously spammers, hackers can run around and easily and find not updated plugins and know what exploit?

Because if that is the correct, that sounds making it too easy for spammers, hackers.

I do keep everything up-to-date,…. but I was just wondering about a relevancy to wp security part.

    Thanks for your feedback.
    Fred

    It’s not.

See how that’s blank? THAT is what you should have.

So … I think you have a plugin gone daft.

    Hi Mike.
    Thanks for your reply.
You were correct. It was one the plugin. Now it’s good (blank).
    Thanks again.
