Diplaying custom post type specific to taxonomy

  • Hi there,
    I’m in the planning stages of a site right now and wondering if I’ll be able to implement what I want to do using WordPress.

    I’ve created a custom post type for my products and created taxonomies for them.

    Each product will be assigned to one product type – category
    and one or more department — tag

    I would then like to display the list of products per product type but specific to a department.

    Can I even do this in WordPress or is this too much to ask?

    yes this can be done, the deeper the cross links the more complex, but yes it can.

    I spoke to a drupal developer and she agrees with you and thinks that this should be possible with WordPress. She also offered to help. Yay!
