Dimensions (padding and margin) disappeared in block editor

    I created a blank new theme using Create Block Theme and after I exported it to a zip file, suddenly the Dimensions (padding and margin) section is missing for all blocks in the Block Editor. I have not done anything else that could’ve caused this behavior. I am working with a local install with minimal plugins, most importantly I have zero block related plugins, using everything default except for this plugin. I do not know how to get it back. Very strange behavior, please help. Thank you.

    theme.json is a bit of a mystery to me, but once I added 

    "settings": {        
       "appearanceTools": true
    }

    all of the block style options reappeared. I’m not sure if that was in the original theme.json so I’m wondering if something in the database affected if after exporting a theme?

    I’m marking as resolved, but this is still unclear to me.
