Digital Ocean Spaces compatibility

    Will there be Digital Ocean Spaces compatibility? I believe Spaces is more or less compatible with S3.

    If this is planned you got a new pro client! ?? Thanks in advance.

    I’m also hoping Digital Ocean Spaces is going to be supported soon! If so, I’ll definitely be purchasing pro.

    We’ve had lots of requests for supporting DigitalOcean Spaces, so it would be rude not to! ??

    As and experiment, I added a few lines to the “WP Offload S3 Lite” code (my DO Space URL/region but hardcoded) and replaced AWS access keys by DigitalOcean keys directly in the WP options table, and found out in result the plugin works with DO Spaces: files copied to Spaces, image URLs replaced.

    So, looks there are no critical obstacles for adding support of DigitalOcean Spaces but some extra work. Deliciousbrains, please do it!

    We’re working towards supporting DigitalOcean Spaces, but do not as yet have any further information to share.
