    Hello. I have noticed that when a customer orders a digital download (music) from my client’s website, my client now needs to manually change the order status from “processing” to “completed” before the tracks will be released to the customer. This was not the case until recently. I have checked the settings (products > downloadable products) and the “Grant access to downloadable products after payment” box is checked. This is only a recent thing – previous downloadable products have worked fine. Has something changed? Thanks in advance.

    I understand the functionality to put the downloadable product orders automatically to complete is not working as expected.

    Just to be sure, if you disable all plugins except WooCommerce and switch the site’s theme to a default theme like Storefront, does the issue persist?

    You can use the Meks Quick Plugin Disabler, with this plugin you can remember what plugins you currently have active, so it’s easy to switch them back on.
