  • Hi guys and gals, yes you guessed it I would like you to review my review site LOL

    Could you let me know things like aesthetics, load times, things needed and not needed.

    I thank you in advance for any suggestions or honest criticisms

    The site loading time is not quick, perhaps due to the background image you have.

    anyways, you have got some very good reviews on your blog, what review plugin you are using?

    Perhaps you can use some more social media on your single post pages. An easily visible social voting buttons always helps.

    @staytamed Thanks for your input,

    I am using 2 review plugins on my site the first is:
    WP Customer Reviews – so visitors can leave their own reviews

    and the second is:
    Author hReview – for authors to leave their reviews.

    When you say the site is not quick can you let me know if it is too slow meaning do you think it would turn visitors away?

    I will take a look at adding some more social media to the site, do you have any suggestions?

    – Open your website in Google Chrome.
    – Right click where applicable and select ‘Inspect element’.
    – Select the ‘Network’ tab in the toolbar that has just appeared.
    – Right click within that Network section [screenshot] and select ‘Clear browser cache’.
    – Refresh the page.

    Thanks for the info I didn’t have Chrome installed so I have now installed it and it says my site takes 6.4 seconds to load.
    But I still don’t know if that is considered slow or if that is average sorry, if some one could tell me what load time range websites should load in I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions I have now added some more social media as suggested and made some improvements to speed the site up.

    If you could check it again and let me know if it is loading better etc it would be much appreciated.
