• Hi,

First of all: Kudos to the creators, as this a great plugin!

Problem is that the digests are not working. Based on all the related posts I found in forums, I checked all the following, already:
    – Which version do you have installed? The very latest
    – Activity stream switched on (Components): Check!
    – Any other mails being sent out? Yes, just not the digests
    – Could it be another plugin interfering? Nope. I switched off all but Buddypress. Events Manager Extended DOES influence the timezone, but that’s about it (WP Settings timezone is not picked up for some reason)
    – What do you use for sending mail? Cimy Swift SMTP, tested with the plugin switched on and off. Result is the same
    – Which translation do you use? Dutch. No funny characters in the Dutch language as far as I’m aware
    – How did you test? In the end I tested with wp-crontrol to fire the cron on demand. Before that, I scheduled the daily digest in the near future, and waiting for it to rum
    – Does the sum=1 window clean up after the cron has run? Yes,the queues are clean, but the mails never arrive

Any idea? At all? I’m at a loss here, really.
    Thanks for your support!

the function ass_send_multipart_email() in bp-activity-subscription-digest.php is where the email is being sent from, using phpmailer. There are so many variables, without being on your system, there is no way to say for sure where the digest is failing. when you use sum=1 what do you see?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick reply.
When I use sum=1, I see a neat overview of the mails in queue. They all start with the correct mail addresses in the header. After the cron has run, the digest queues are empty.

If you’d like to have a look at my system, let me know what you need and I’ll see what I can arrange.

    Thanks in advance!

P.s.: The host’s server is Windows (IIS).

the plugin has not been tested on a windows server, so that could be your problem. I’m actually too busy to take a look at your system right now. maybe there is someone else who can help?
