Difficulty Adding Site Logo

Hi I’m working on a fresh installation of 6.1.1. with the default Twenty Twenty Three theme. Although it’s easy to add the site-logo block, I’m struggling to see where I can actually select the image I wish to use. I found some instructions for the site editor which suggested that clicking the placeholder would open the media library and let me select the image but it hasn’t worked. Am I missing something or is it a bug?
