    I have uploaded the new PDF and attached it to the correct page but the site still only sees the older PDF in the embedded link, what am I missing?

    Alright, let me give that a try.

    Well, the good news is that I didn’t break it. The bad news is that neither did I change it.

    What did you do and what happened?

    Okay, so do I have to delete the old one for the new one to replace it? I have been a bit leery of taking that step unless I knew for certain the new one would link, but I’m wondering if the reason I can’t link it is because the old one is still linked.

    No, the link IS changed – looks like the PDF is not actually located here:

    So I changed the text to look for the new PDF but the site still only sees the old PDF. But if I follow the library page from the dashboard it shows me a different contact us. I’m thinking that it created a transitory duplicate because the old link was in the way.

    Not sure what you mean by that. A link doesn’t control a page.

    Could you find that PDF in the media library (or wherever it is) and post a link directly to it? The link should be in the box on the right side of the screen when you are viewing that PDF (if it’s in the media library).

    So here is the alternate Contact Us page that displays the new form. https://programassist.org/contact-us/assist-new-referral-form-4_16_15/ Why is it there but I can’t link it to the original page?

    Okay, here’s the two links:

    <p class="attachment">
    <a href="https://programassist.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/ASSIST-New-Referral-form-4_16_15.pdf">ASSIST New Referral form 4_16_15</a>
    </p>

    <a target="_blank" href="https://programassist.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/ASSIST New Referral form 4_16_15.pdf"" title="REFERRAL FORM">CLICK  HERE  TO  DOWNLOAD  OUR  REFERRAL  FORM!</a>

    So try putting this on the page that is not working:

    <p class="attachment">
    <a target="_blank" href="https://programassist.org/wp/wp-content/uploads/ASSIST New Referral form 4_16_15.pdf"" title="REFERRAL FORM">CLICK  HERE  TO  DOWNLOAD  OUR  REFERRAL  FORM!</a>
    </p>

    Take out the em and strong tags too.

    Okay, now I feel like a shaved monkey. I finally figured out where you were directing me to look, copy and pasted the link and boom, instant update.

    Sorry, I’m more of a database type than a web type (as is obvious), thanks for your patience. It’s working perfectly now.

    No worries – it’s a bit confusing and helping without seeing the same thing doesn’t help :)! Just glad you got it fixed – and happy to help.
