• Claims to be user friendly in Gutenberg but isn’t. You have to set up in settings, there are no options to change things when you’re in Gutenberg.
Doesn’t do a basic slideshow with a black background around the image under the header and a few arrows.
Image is cropped in the dashboard, too small when it displays.
Control screen is all very small text and impossible to read on iPad.

  • Hi @alfiebrill

I’m sorry for your experience here.

We do keep most of the controls of the Gutenberg interface simply because there are a lot of options in MetaSlider. We’ve looked at moving more settings in Gutenberg, but it’s a much smaller and more limited space.

Would you consider moving this to a support ticket and letting us help you get your slideshow up-and-running? Our team is here to help you.

Sure. I’m happy to do that.

Hi there @stevejburge I have changed this to a support topic as requested.

    Many thanks @macmanx

@alfiebrill we’re here to help. We can guide on getting that basic slideshow set up correctly? If a tutorial would help, we can do that. Could you share an idea of what your end-result should look like?

It’s actually ok. My initial thought was to have everything disappear except the header and links at the top, and then the gallery image below on a black background.

But I’m ok with the way it looks now. It is more integrated withe site.
