Difficult to Install and Does Not Work

  • This is a very convoluted installation requiring multiple steps to set up. I went ahead and purchased the Pro Trial since I don’t have a location address. SO I had to pay and give the dev my cc info. Download and install the plugin and license key. But then….You have to open a Google Developers Account, give Google your cc info, set up a project, two ids, then generate an API. All of which I did. Then enter the API key (which worked). Problem is, after all that, if you cannot find your location with the Google Location Finder, the plugin will not work. Now I have a business that has been on Google Maps for 7 years. I have 256 reviews. Plugin could not find me, even after I found, verified, and inserted my Place ID. Hey developers, the whole purpose of WordPress is to make things EASY. Unfortunately this plugin does NOT do that.

    Hey Jack,
    Sorry you had trouble with the Pro version of the plugin. In the Pro version there are two ways to download Google reviews. The first method which you tried does require an API Key and you must have a physical address. There is a second method on the Get Reviews > Review Funnel page that will allow you to download all your Google reviews without an API key. I am happy to get this working for you. Just use the forum inside the Pro version or the contact form inside the Pro version.
