    I have a few questions regarding the visibility of posts in different categories.

    1) In one category I would like to show the entire post. In another category I just want to show the summary. How do I manage this?

    2) For some posts I would like to remove the post footer {date, user, category, comments}. For some other posts I would like to keep the post footer. How do I manage that?

    3) And finally I would like to remove the “Archive for” from some categories (not all).

    Thanks for any help or suggestions.

    Does anyone have any idea of what to do?

    This might be the answer for all your questions…
    Category_Templates
    It is definitely the answer for #1.
    re #2. It is called “post meta”. And the question is – WHERE do you want to do it.
    #3. See # 1.

    And just a note. There NO real folders for categories: those are just virtual folders created by the permalink rewrite rules!

    Thanks for your suggestion! It seem to give me the answers I was looking for.

    Just two follow up questions (I’m not deeply into wordpress yet so I need some basic/newbee information);

    1) where is the easiest place to find the category ID?

    re. 2) (post meta) I haven’t tested yet, but I understand that the post meta tag could be linked to a category – which is what I’m looking for.

    Thanks again
