Different videos for different devices?

I have a video that plays on the home page. It’s a bit slow to load on mobile devices. Normally, I see there are ways to have different configurations for different device types but I can’t see how to do this on the video. Is it possible to have different assets play for different devices (e.g. smaller file for mobile)? If not, is it possible to switch video for an image on mobile? Just trying to avoid the lag and home page users seeing a grey block for a while
