Different users for different categories?

    I’m using WordPress for my personal blog, where I’m the only poster.

    I’ve gotten a request to set up a new blog for a local little league. I’d like to set it up so that different users have access to post information to only specific categories, which I will list on the sidebar (News,Softball,Scores,etc).

    Does WordPress support this type of setup?
