    Hi All,
I have a website that has 3 forms of data collection:
    1. General registration (much the same as any other web site)
    2. Financial Information (Hotel bookings, invoices etc.
    3. Sensitive information – collected only for usage of one part of the site.
This section is similar in concept to a “dating” site. For the protection of the users of this facility we OPENLY and TRANSPARENTLY ask for sensitive info such as ID or Passport details, gender, age and full contact details.
The purpose of this is to make it obvious to any would be predators that this site will assist the relevant authorities should any of these users go missing or be subjected to any criminal activity.

I have no problem deleting normal registration data.
Financial data, though, is subject to accounting laws and therefore may not be deleted for stipulated periods of time.
The “dating” info can not be deleted until we can be satisfied (morally and legally) that it is safe to do so

So how would this app be setup to allow for these three cases?

    Regards

    Alan

  • Hi there!

Sorry for the long wait. These are unfortunately rather specific questions that are outside the scope of free support – and to be honest it sounds like you need proper legal assistance anyway with these questions as you’re dealing with sensitive data in a very sensitive context.

You can get in touch with us at [email protected] and we can discuss this further!

    Thanks!
